Internally Handled Anti-Virus Control
Support for gateway virus scanning makes Kerio MailServer a secure shield against the spread of computer viruses. By checking both incoming and outgoing email, the risk of infecting external addressees is much lower as well.The outgoing anti-virus check is also performed on emails originating in and destined for the local network, which eliminates the risk of internal infection in cases where the virus does not enter the network via email.
From a technical standpoint, the anti-virus scanning in Kerio MailServer is performed at the server's kernel level. This prevents an email from bypassing the anti-virus check.
